At Sun & Soul Therapy, I do not accept insurance in order to provide more personalized, holistic care that honors your full experience — mind, body, and soul. This allows us to focus on what truly supports your healing and growth, without the limitations imposed by insurance companies.

A superbill is a special receipt I can give you after your therapy sessions. It includes all the information your insurance company needs—like the type of service, dates, and fees—so that you can submit it to them for possible reimbursement.
How It Works
You pay for your sessions directly with me.
I give you a superbill (usually monthly, but I can adjust if needed).
You send it to your insurance company.
Depending on your plan, your insurance may reimburse you directly.
Important Notes
Not all insurance plans reimburse for out-of-network therapy, so it’s a good idea to check with your insurance provider first.
Reimbursement amounts and timelines vary by plan.
I don’t handle communication with your insurance company, but I’ll make sure your superbill has all the details they usually need.

In-home therapy offers a convenient and comfortable way to receive mental health support without the added stress of traveling to an office. For many clients, being in their own environment helps them feel more at ease, leading to more open and productive sessions.
This personalized approach allows your therapist to better understand your daily life, family dynamics, and environment — creating a deeper and more practical connection between therapy and real-life change. In-home sessions are especially beneficial for children, teens, and families, as they take place where clients naturally feel most secure.
You’ll receive the same level of professional, confidential care you’d expect in an office setting, with the added benefits of flexibility, convenience, and comfort. In-home therapy truly meets you where you are — helping you make progress in the space where it matters most.

That really depends on your goals and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. Some people come in for just a few sessions to work through something specific, while others choose to stay longer for deeper exploration and continued support. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy is still meeting your needs and adjust as we go. My goal isn’t to keep you in therapy forever — it’s to help you feel empowered, stronger, and more connected to your authentic self, however long that journey takes for you.

Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. What you share stays between us, with a few legal exceptions (like if you're at risk of harming yourself or others, or if there's abuse involved). We’ll go over all of this in your first session.
-
That’s totally okay! You don’t need to have it all figured out before you come in. We’ll work together to explore what’s on your mind and what’s important to you. It’s a no-pressure space.

A Good Faith Estimate is a simple document that gives you an idea of what your therapy sessions may cost. It helps you understand and plan for the financial side of care. The estimate includes the fees for sessions and what your total costs might be based on how often you come.
Please know this is just an estimate, not a bill. Your actual costs may be more or less, depending on your needs and how your therapy progresses.
